Pastor Michael Swetman believes the local church should be the heart of a thriving community. More than a place to attend for an hour each week, the church is where faith is lived out, relationships are built, and lives are transformed. As Jesus reminds us in Matthew’s Gospel, “By their fruit you will recognize them.” Those words challenge us to let our faith shape who we are and how we serve others.
Pastor Michael is a retired U.S. Special Forces officer and former Doctor of Health Services and licensed Physician Assistant (PA) with the Veterans Administration. He earned a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from United Theological Seminary and brings a distinguished record of service, leadership, and compassion to his ministry.
He has been married to his wife, Ellen, for nearly 40 years. Together they enjoy traveling, shooting sports, playing music, and watching movies. Ellen serves as the Worship Leader at The Rock.
